This world is so big, but in some ways it’s also so small. Mandy reached out to me through email at the beginning of the year about her September California wedding. Through conversation we found out that she actually worked with two of our good friends in the Air Force! We set up a FaceTime call and when I followed up through an email her response was: “I don’t think I’ll need time to decide. I would love to have you both there on my special day! Your personality alone goes such a long way. I am really big on vibes and signs. The minute we started talking I just knew.”

We followed each other on Instagram and every Insta story I watched of hers made me so so excited to finally get to meet her. True story: I could hardly sleep the night before her wedding because I was SO ready to meet this couple in person!

The day came and the instant I met Mandy I knew I’d made a life long friend. Same goes for her now hubby, Misa. The first thing I noticed about him was his AMAZING Star Wars themed tattoo on his arm. My first words were, “You’re a Star Wars fan?” And his response was something like this: “HECK YEAH!”

Their wedding was beautiful and had all the special touches that truly spoke to Mandy, Misa, their family, and friends. Wine and Roses was not only a gorgeous wedding venue, but the rooms and services they offer were top notch!
